Kid's play. Well, that, and a bona fide investment class.

James' ski buddy Phong Le retired shortly after a half-century on this planet partly owing to the profits he made investing in collectibles. As you can see near the end of the video below, Phong lights up when showing off his stash in a way you wouldn't see from someone talking about shares of stock held on digital record at the DTCC. Collectibles are fun, and you can touch them – or at least the plastic casing protecting them.

As with collectibles investing itself, the video isn't for everyone. It builds slowly, so have patience. But in it Phong outlines the key principles that have made him successful at it.
